What abous us?
Élé, Gab, Océ, Léa… so many nicknames!
The Goals
Beyond the fact that this is a supervised project we must complete to earn our degree, we have real convictions for this website:
- To list all eco-friendly and second-hand consumption options, as well as independent and local (short-supply-chain) sellers in Reims and the surrounding areas.
- To present these places in an organized, clear, and accessible way.
- To make it easier to find local shops offering these types of services.
- To promote better consumption habits and provide advice in the form of articles.
Pssst! Don’t forget to check out the blog section of the site! We share tons of fun tips there.

The Team

We’re Gabrielle, Éléonore, Léa and Océane, four students (and of course, friends!) in the Master’s program Multilingual Information Management!
After five years of study, we realized that Reims is basically the land of big retail chains. And when it comes to sustainability and ecology… well, it’s not exactly great.
But our goal isn’t to be that annoying coworker who bikes to work, sews her own clothes out of recyclable cotton, and yells at you every time you drink water from a plastic bottle because you forgot your reusable one. We just want to remind you that there are other ways to consume.
We get it. Ordering online or going to a shopping mall full of big brands is super convenient. But we just want to tell you that there’s a bookseller on your street. There’s a jewelry maker working in the apartment across from you, trying to get her brand noticed on social media. There’s a small independent shop that finds amazing, original pieces just a few steps from that big store you always go to
They’re all there, passionate about their work, and they think about us! So what if we thought about them before checking out our online shopping cart or heading to the supermarket mall next door?
We went out to meet independent creators, local producers, and second-hand shops, and we’re sharing all the addresses with you!
